An Ye Harm None

This is my Halloween/Samhain picture a little late.
The title comes from the Wiccan saying "An ye harm none, do what ye will." However, the painting has no special significance other than it seemed a fitting piece for this time of year. The runes on the scroll ring, which probably won't be legible, were selected after some cursory research on runes and were chosen for the letters they stand for and some possible meanings atrributed to them.

The painting was done in Photoshop LE with a Wacom Graphire3 Tablet. I tried to work on more dramatic lighting than usual for me.
For reference for the skyclad female, I used a great stock photo [link] by ~double-crow-stock .
Reference for the books and scrolls was from stock [link] and [link] by the extremely talented =lockstock .
The cat skull holding the pages open was painted holding a bobcat skull in one hand and using my tablet pen in the other. I do better from photo reference, as the shortening in the nose area and particularly the back of the skull, make it appear like a domestic cat skull instead of a bobcat skull. Which I probably should't have mentioned, because most people wouldn't have noticed if I didn't mention it.
As usual, critique is much appreciated. I know there will be some blurring due to my slow internet connection. I had intended to upload this from a friend's faster connection, but that didn't work out this time. I will try to do that with future deviations.
I apologize for the 'mature content' label as well, but I do think DeviantART would require it for this painting.
