Hello! My name is Pebble and I am about to tell you about the day I became an esk. I was a small creature and I lived in a cage. I was NEVER allowed out. I am not sure why; it was my human’s rule. I did not mind it too much as long as the cage stayed clean. Human was exceptionally good at helping me keep such a small house clean…... when they came around. Often human forgot about me. I know I was easy to forget, I was such a small thing in such a big house. Sometimes it would take a long time before human would remember and I would go hungry and thirsty for a while.
