Long story short, tough challenges make you a better person, and using AI to write stories or draw is one way of cheating yourself out of that development. It's just tragic to see so many people taking the easy way out instead of buckling down and putting in the work. About six and a half years ago I decided that I wanted to bring my own visuals to my stories. I already had about a decade of writing under my belt, and was pretty established as an author on this site. Besides the fact that art is awesome, I wanted to add an extra dimension to my tales that would help people get closer to my imagination. I put in years of consistent drawing practice because I love storytelling and wanted to expand my capabilities as a storyteller. Again, it just saddens me to see so many people who want to pursue art or storytelling, but don't have the drive or discipline to do it the right way.
